SUCCESS CONFERENCE
Occurs annually, just prior to the start of autumn quarter. This conference brings alumni back to campus to talk to students about where their Milgard degree took them in their career so far and brings employers to talk about best practices for resumes, interview skills, and personal brand. Below are few pictures from past events.
BUSINESS ETIQUETTE DINNER
The Milgard School of Business hosts an annual etiquette dinner to prepare business students for successful work relationships and to become respectful, adaptive, and experienced communicators. In addition to getting versed in dining etiquette, students will learn the importance of good manners in a business-meal setting and why getting the details right makes a difference to an employer or a client. A trainer guides the event while students sit at hosted Business tables.
CAREER FAIRS
Career Fairs are an opportunity for Milgard students to network with employers and apply for internships and full time positions. These fair will take place in-person on the UW Tacoma campus. All employers represented mostly actively recruit for open positions, so have your elevator speech ready and bring your resume.
