UW Tacoma is proud to offer guaranteed admission through Pathways to Promise and Washington Guaranteed Admissions Program.
Pathways to Promise (P2P)
Pathways to Promise was established to promote a college and career-ready culture, breakdown educational barriers, and provide college access to students in the South Puget Sound. If you attend one of the following school districts, you're part of Pathways to Promise and can qualify for guaranteed admission to UW Tacoma.
Auburn, Bethel, Chief Leschi, Federal Way, Fife, Franklin Pierce, Kent, Puyallup, Tacoma, Tahoma and College Success Foundation Achievers.
Meet the following requirements to qualify for guaranteed admission to UW Tacoma:
- A minimum GPA of 2.7 or higher
- Completion of all College Academic Distribution Requirements (CADRS) by the time you graduate high school
- Submit a UW Tacoma admissions application
Washington Guaranteed Admissions Program (WAGAP)
The Washington Guaranteed Admissions Program (WAGAP) supports a college-going culture and guaranteed admission efforts for high school seniors interested in attending UW Tacoma.
Students attending WAGAP partner schools qualify for guaranteed admission by meeting the following requirements:
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Completion of all College Academic Distribution Requirements (CADRS) by the time you graduate high school
- Submit a UW Tacoma admissions application
