Graduating Student Checklist

Dear student,

You are receiving this message as a student with a graduation application on file for the Autumn 2024 quarter. We congratulate you as you continue to wrap your final quarter as an undergraduate student!

Honors GPA requirements are still being determined. Please check back in mid-November for Honors GPA Requirements on our webpage.

Please see below for helpful information and for tips for your last quarter and graduation.

Before the end of the quarter:
 

  • Run your degree audit to ensure All Requirements Are In Progress. If any requirement is appearing unmet and you have questions, reach out to your academic advisor.

 

  • Check your unofficial transcript for any errors or pending grades and work with faculty to ensure final grades are posted by the end of the quarter.
     
  • Diploma Name A student’s Diploma Name does not have to match their Student Record Name. Students can have their diploma issued in the name of their choice by providing that name information into the Diploma Name and Address form prior to graduation. This is also where students provide an alternate mailing address for their diploma delivery. Students who do not provide their Diploma Name or mailing address via the form in time for their graduation date and/or diploma order will have their diplomas issued using their Student Record Name and delivered to their current mailing address.
     
  • Ensure your permanent address is up to date (this is the default mailing address for diplomas). To update your diploma mailing address visit your MyUW.

If you are no longer planning to graduate for the Autumn 2024 quarter or your degree requirements not met for any reason and need to register for upcoming quarters, please respond to this message. You will not be eligible to register until you have moved your graduation application.
