The University of Washington Tacoma welcomes learners under the age of 18. It is important that you and your family become familiar with particular responsibilities that apply to you as a student under the age of 18 attending UW.
Any high school student may enroll in a course through Non-Degree Enrollment. However, high school students who are under 18 must have their parent or guardian sign a Under 18 Notice - Acknowledgement Form. This form may be downloaded and submitted together with the non-matriculated (NM) student registration and approval forms.
If you have questions about your non-matriculated registration as an under 18 student, please contact the University of Washington Tacoma Office of the Registrar (253) 692-4913 or reguwt@uw.edu.
