What is ASUWT?
The Associated Students of the University of Washington Tacoma (ASUWT) is your student government. We are here to support and advocate for student needs on and off campus. ASUWT is composed of elected, hired, and volunteer students who work to ensure student success at UWT.
Our Mission
The Associated Students of the University of Washington Tacoma (ASUWT) bridges communication between students, administration, and legislature, ensuring that student voices are not only heard but valued. We stand as a pillar of trust, transparency, and support, representing all students while supporting future generations.
Our Initiatives
Since ASUWT's founding, many projects have been implemented on the University of Washington Tacoma campus for the benefit of students. Our newest initiatives are Food Equity & Basic Needs, Campus Development, and Inclusive Access
