Evy Shankus M.S.
Director, Students Assisting Business and Associate Teaching Professor, Milgard School of Business
Evy offers experience as a staffing manager in the private sector, as an internship coordinator for the Milgard School of Business, and many years as a teaching professor in the field of Human Resources management at the University of Washington, Tacoma. Evy understands that businesses need students who are the right person for the job and will identify students whose interests, skills, education and values match those of the partner organization.
As a small business owner herself, Evy understands that entrepreneurs need self-starters and creative thinkers that deliver solutions and will work with businesses to identify opportunities that will benefit both the student learner and the business owners.

Stan Emert
Founding Director, Student Assisting Business and Director, Sports Enterprise Management, Milgard School of Business
Stan Emert is the Founding Director of Student Assisting Business and also the director of Sports Enterprise Management at the Milgard School of Business. His focus has been on management, international business, business strategy and negotiations.
Emert is the creator of RAINMAKERS.TV, a nonprofit documentary and interview TV/video series that celebrates the successes of people at all levels of the economic pyramid. His interview subjects included a wide variety of people from government, media, NGOs, authors, celebrities, etc.
He is a global business corporate social responsibility veteran. He consults with placing profitable, job-creating green technologies throughout the world. He has spoken on business social responsibility before the World Bank, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the American Film Institute, and to many other significant audiences around the U.S. He is the author of two books, and the ghostwriter of five others. He has a BA in history from Tusculum University, and a JD from the University of Tennessee.
