Confirming 8/6 suspended operations
July 31, 2024
Last week’s update provided notice that UW Tacoma would likely suspend in-person operations for the day on Tuesday 8/6.
I am pleased to report that work has progressed according to plan and we are on track to switch from generators to the main power source on Tuesday. Please plan for the campus to be in suspended in-person operations all day on Tuesday 8/6.
Where possible, please plan to work, teach, or learn from another site while we finish this critical next step.
A UW alert message will be sent as a reminder on Monday 8/5. Thank you for your patience and flexibility!
Sheila Edwards Lange, Ph.D., Chancellor
