About Writing Advisory Committee (WAC)

Please note WAC is currently inactive. Updates on the status of this committee will be posted on this website.

The writing advisory committee is ideally composed of faculty and staff from all corners of the University who care about the teaching and learning of writing. Its on-going charge is to two-fold: 

  • To advise the Academic Policy and Curriculum Committee on all matters related to writing and its instruction on campus.
  • To review and offer feedback to W course teachers on the writing portion of their courses.
