Course Substitution Petition: Innovation & Design Minor

The Minor in Innovation and Design (25 credits) requires the completion of specific Innovation and Design prerequisite, core, and capstone courses. This form may be used to request one required Innovation and Design course waiver under the following circumstance:

• Completion of the Innovation and Design course in question presents unavoidable scheduling conflicts and an approved non-Innovation and Design course with comparable content has been or will be taken in its place (typically applies to core courses only but may apply to introductory or capstone courses under exceptional circumstances).

Please note the following limitations to this provision:

• Only one course substitution may be made (i.e., it is not possible to waive more than one Innovation and Design requirement).
• Only courses graded numerically or experiential learning/study abroad courses graded as ‘CR’ will be considered for an Innovation and Design course substitution.
