Meet the Pack Advisors
Black Pack
Black stands for Perseverance & Dignity
Perseverance means determination in the face of adversity. We motivate ourselves and each other to do our best. We extend grace when we miss our mark and learn from our mistakes. It’s important to hold a common respect for ourselves and our work.
Chloe
Black Pack
Hey fellow huskies! My name is Chloe (She/Her). I’m a senior studying Politics, Philosophy and, Economics (PPE). I was born in India but grew up in Dubai. I enjoy hiking, swimming, reading, rewatching old comfort shows, and traveling! My favorite place in the PNW would be Canon beach and my advice to new students would be to tackle each task with baby steps, complete one thing at a time.
Mary
Black Pack
Hi Everyone! My name is Mary, I will be one of your 2024-2025 pack advisors! I am currently a Senior majoring in Psychology, minoring in Education and Global Engagement. On my free time I love to travel, make bath products, and play Dance Dance Revolution. My advice to incoming students is that navigating the unknown can be a little difficult by yourself, there are so many resources around campus and everyone is always willing to help. If you ever have any questions it’s always good and okay to ask them. I’m looking forward to meeting you all and being a resource to help make your first year at UWT a great one!
PURPLE Pack
Purple stands for Pride
One of the main goals of the Pack Advisors is to foster campus pride. You belong here, in college, and at the UDub. The UW Tacoma experience is unique. What you do has meaning, and we value you as both a student and a member of the community. We want to recognize where you are coming from, and support you in where you are going. You deserve to feel proud of yourself and your community.
Briann
Purple Pack
Hey new Huskies! My name is Briann Jolene (she/her) and I am senior majoring in biomedical sciences! I’m originally from the Northern Mariana Islands in the Pacific but have lived in Washington most of my life. I’ve recently gotten into travel and attending concerts so I hope to do more of that after graduation! When I’m not in classes or studying, I enjoy going for walks in the beautiful weather, listening to music and grabbing boba or dinner with my friends. I’m super excited to meet you all throughout the course of this year and can’t wait for y’all to experience life as a Husky here at UWT! 😊

GOLD Pack
Gold stands for Community & Inclusion
Our family, friends, staff, and faculty form our community, and together we support each other and our collective success. We all come from different places and bring different strengths. It’s important to stand together in these differences. We strive to make everyone feel safe and heard in this space.
Fatima
Gold Pack
Hey Huskies! My name is Fatima and I use she/her pronouns and I will be one of your Pack Advisors for the 2024-2025 school year! I will be a sophomore this upcoming school year and I will be majoring in Psychology and Social Welfare with a minor in Human Rights. I’m from Kent and have lived in the area for most of my life. My hobbies include going outside for nature walks, playing with my dog Cookie, going out to new places with my mom, and overall exploring whenever we can. I enjoy spending time outdoors and spending time with my parents, Cookie, and other animals. My advice is your grades do not define you, you’re only human at the end of the day so be kind to yourself and make sure to take breaks when your body and mind need them. I’m excited to meet you all and be able to help y’all out whenever needed and help you guys make the most of your time at UWT!
Selly
Gold Pack
Hi Huskies!! My name is Selly and I will be one of your 2024-25 pack advisors. I’m currently a senior majoring in Computer Science & Systems. I’m from Tumwater and some of my hobbies include playing the piano, drawing, painting, and watching movies and shows with my family. I also really enjoy hiking, biking, and spending time in the great outdoors. My advice as you go through your journey in college and life would be to strive for learning, not for perfection. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes. Try your best and give yourself a pat on the back for job well done afterwards!
GREY Pack
Grey stands for Integrity & Compassion
Integrity means doing the right thing, even when no one is looking. We aim to have complete transparency in order to foster trust. It’s important to treat each other as equals and show everyone the same degree of empathy and compassion. Part of showing that we care is being present in your journey, wherever that may be.
Cameron
Grey Pack
Hello everyone! My name is Cameron and I will be one of the pack advisors for the 2024-2025 school year. I am a junior in the I.T. program. I’m from Puyallup but I’ve been enjoying my time on campus at the dorms. My hobbies are video games, watching movies and cartoons, and a bit of drawing. We are here to help you through your first year on campus along with all the other resources here at UWT so don’t be afraid to ask someone if you have any questions!
Luke
Grey Pack
Hiya! My name is Luke (he/him) and I am a junior majoring in Computer Science here at UWT. I was born and raised here in Washington, and through Running Start got my AA at Green River College. In my free time I like to hike, cuddle and play with my dog, play video games with my friends, and listen to music. Recently I’ve been playing through Persona 5 Royal (it’s really fun!) and reading Jujutsu Kaisen. An idea that I like to live by is that everything happens for a reason, and it is important to handle setbacks gracefully. With that said, us Pack Advisors are here for you every step of the way on your journey here at UWT. So excited to see all of you!
