Council for Campus Engagement Appointment Process
The council for campus engagement appoints members via interview with all open positions posted on the student interview site Handshake. Current CCE members as well as the council chair and ASUWT Director of Internal Communications and Affairs conduct the interviews and then follow UWT hiring policies accordingly.
Council for Campus Engagement Members gain key insight and awareness as to how university budgets are proposed, allocated, decided, and then managed. CCE members can expect to learn more about student involvement and the equitable distribution of student paid fees. Members of the CCE learn how to effectively allocate money to student funding requests while keeping in mind the greater good of the campus, as well as the health of the council’s budget.
