The University of Washington Tacoma campus is located at the south end of downtown Tacoma, across the street from the Washington State History Museum, Tacoma Art Museum and Federal Courthouse.

To get to UW Tacoma from Interstate 5:
- Take exit 133 (Tacoma City Center) onto I-705.
- Follow signs to I-705.
- From I-705, take the first exit to S. 21st Street.
- At the light at the top of the exit ramp, turn left onto S. 21st Street.
- The next traffic light is Pacific Avenue. When you cross Pacific Avenue, the campus is on your right.
Parking
There are a number of pay parking lots on and around campus. Most street parking on campus is metered and limited to 90 minutes. You can park for free at the Tacoma Dome Station Garage and ride the free Link light rail to campus. Keep in mind that, on weekdays, this garage is often full between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.
A limited amount of parking passes may be purchased ahead of time (no less than 1 month from event) for a daily basis for your guests. Be sure to ask about adding this option when you book with us.
