Need a Husky Card?
If you are a new student who needs one or a continuing student who did not get one earlier, you can use the Husky Card ID Portal to make a request.

Students are allowed to identify the name they would like to be called in classroom settings and when interacting with University personnel. Log into Identity.UW and follow the directions to set or change your preferred name with the University.
The University of Washington is committed to ensuring everyone is welcome here as their authentic self. You can find a new central online resource on the Husky Health & Well-Being website with important information about Sharing Pronouns at UW.
Husky Prevention & Response (Title IX) Student Course
Husky Prevention & Response is a course about preventing and responding to sex- and gender-based violence and harassment. All students are required to complete the 60–90-minute online student course. If you are a student employee, you must also complete a separate employee course, which takes approximately 20-30 minutes to complete.
If you have not satisfied the University’s immunization requirements, you may not be able to register for classes during your second quarter until the registration hold is resolved. Visit the UW Tri-Campus Immunization Requirements website for more information.
Did you receive vaccines in Washington? The Washington State Immunization Information System (WAIIS) may contain your immunization records. Update your Consent for Immunization Record Query so UW can easily assist you in meeting this requirement.
Update Emergency Contact
It is important that all UW students provide emergency contact information. Please take a moment to review or update this information in Student Personal Services. Make sure to include both a phone number and email address for the emergency contact you have listed.
Updates to UW Alerts
The UW Alert system provides current information on campus closures and delays due to inclement weather and emergency situations. To ensure more students receive UW Alerts via text, UW has added the phone number from your student profile to the UW Alert system. If the number is for a cell phone, UW will send you UW Alerts via text. Log into the UW Alert system to add additional phone numbers and email address, or to opt out. Visit the Campus Safety & Security website for additional information and resources.
