The Technical Communication minor offers written and oral communication courses applicable to all majors, professions and workplace situations. Students choose from a wide range of topics, including scientific writing, usability (UX), cross-cultural communication design, web design and visual rhetoric.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
To declare a Technical Communication minor, you must have earned a minimum of 45 credits and declared a major. Declare the minor by completing the Request to Declare/Change a Major or Minor form and submitting it to the Office of the Registrar.
DEGREE REQUIREMENTS
For a Technical Communication minor, you must complete 25 credits. All courses in the minor must be completed with a minimum 2.0 GPA.
Note: Writing Studies majors cannot minor in Technical Communication.
