Overview
During the Summer of 2011, eight research interns collaborated with UW Tacoma scientists on a variety of current projects. In addition to providing a valuable experience for the interns, the research outcomes will serve ongoing research projects at UW Tacoma, and also inform research taking place at Washington State University-Puyallup and the City of Tacoma. The interns included undergraduates from both the Tacoma and Seattle campuses of UW, and recent alumni from the UW Tacoma Environmental Science Program.
