Making a Difference
The Black Opportunity Fund was established to address the deep-seated issues of systemic racism that impact the Black community. As part of our urban serving mission, the University of Washington Tacoma is committed to confronting bias, transforming institutional policies, and accelerating systemic change. The Black Opportunity Fund is a vital part of these social justice efforts. If you have an idea that centers the needs of Black community and students, and you are a UW Tacoma campus member, we invite you to apply for funding. Together, we can continue this critical work and create a more equitable environment for all.
