Beleqsa Tamaami joined Global Honors in Autumn 2014 and graduated in Spring 2016.

Within Global Honors, she especially appreciated "the open communication and mentorship with Paul and Alexis, and other Global Honors faculty, on not just GH related coursework but all our other aspects of education at UWT and more, for instance scholarship and study abroad assistance and mentorship/advice."

While at UW Tacoma, Beleqsa earned the $500 Global Honors Quarterly Paper Competition and the Husky 100 Award. She also received the Gilman Scholarship and a Critical Language Scholarship to support her participation in study abroad opportunities in Morocco and Jordan.
