Main Content UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON TACOMA SCHOOL OF SOCIAL WORK AND CRIMINAL JUSTICE 2024-2025 Marc Walters Behavioral Health ScholarshipAs a result of a generous donation from Marc Walters, the University of Washington Tacoma School of Social Work and Criminal Justice is offering scholarship opportunities to UW Tacoma students enrolled in social work, social welfare and criminal justice degree programs who are working or have an interest in utilizing behavioral health skills in their future employment. This includes de-escalation skills, anger management, addictions treatment, stress and coping, mindfulness, treatment adherence, crisis intervention, etc. Application procedures are described below. Eligible applicants are students continuing their degree progression in Winter quarter 2025, when the scholarship funds will be awarded. Successful recipient(s) will be encouraged to write a “thank you” to the donor.Criteria:Currently enrolled University of Washington Tacoma CJ, BASW, or MSW students in good standing at the time of scholarship application with successful completion of at least one quarter of coursework in their major/program by the time of the scholarship disbursement.Continuous enrollment from winter quarter 2025 through spring quarter 2025.
