Money Matters
- Financial Aid staff meets with students during advising drop-in hours or by appointment to discuss the FAFSA, loans, scholarships, financial aid packages, and more.

- School of Social Work and Criminal Justice scholarships are offered throughout the year, and upcoming opportunities will be announced to students via email and on our website.
- The Office of Student Fellowships and Awards offers support to UW Tacoma students in their applications for competitive institutional, national, and international fellowships.

Taking Care of Yourself
- Student Health Services' (SHS) is available to support your physical health. In partnership with Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, current students can find SHS at Franciscan Prompt Care at St. Joseph or any of five other Franciscan Prompt Care clinics in the South Sound. Students also have 24/7 access to Franciscan Virtual Urgent Care.

Military and Veterans
- Veteran and Military Resource Center staff members are available to provide assistance to students regarding the G.I. Bill® and veteran’s benefits.
253-692-5723 | uwtva@uw.edu - Remember, continuing students with veteran status may register on the first day of Period I registration! Students who are not currently receiving veterans benefits will need to provide proof of veteran status to the Veteran and Military Resource Center.
Center for Equity and Inclusion
- The Center for Equity and Inclusion offers student success mentoring, the EMBRACE program, and many other opportunities to enable learning through the exploration of human differences.
Getting Involved on Campus
- Student learning, persistence, and attainment in college are strongly associated with student engagement. Check out our student organizations and upcoming events by visiting Student Life and the DubNet.
- Criminal Justice League: The CJ League aims to provide Criminal Justice majors and minors with opportunities which complement their classroom learning. Their overarching goal is to provide quality interaction, support, and well-being for victims, offenders, criminal justice professionals, and family members who have been affected by the criminal justice system.
- Student Social Work Organization: Guided by the NASW Code of Ethics, the Student Social Work Organization (SSWO) strives to empower individuals, groups, and communities towards social change by listening, advocating for social justice, and serving our community with competence and integrity.
