To accept or decline your offer of admission to the CJ online major, please complete and submit this form. Please note: Your major will not be changed to Criminal Justice Online until this signed form has been submitted, allowing you to register for major-restricted courses. Please review carefully the Academic Professional Standards for Criminal Justice Students. Admission to and progression in the CJ Online major is contingent on meeting several requirements, including those noted below. Please review carefully before submitting: Transfer and Running Start applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 in all transferable coursework. Current UW students must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 in all UW coursework and be in good standing with the University. Applicants must have at least 90 college-level transferable credits before the start of the CJ Online major. Applicants must have completed at least 5 credits of English composition with a grade of 2.0/C or better. A course in Statistics, with a minimum 2.0 grade is required prior to T CRIM 390, Introduction to Criminal Justice Research, a Criminal Justice Online major core class. Please note: If statistics is not completed prior to CJ Online major admission, this course may be completed as part of the CJ Online curriculum. The University of Washington Tacoma has established minimum general education and basic skills requirements for baccalaureate degrees. Each academic major meets or exceeds these minimum requirements. If you have a WL deficiency (outlined in your UW Tacoma general admission letter), you may not be able to complete the graduation requirement online at UW Tacoma. However, students may complete the WL deficiency elsewhere and transfer to UW Tacoma at a later date, prior to graduation (please see advisor). Students attending classes through the University of Washington Tacoma are required to provide proof of vaccination against Measles, Mumps, and Meningitis Meningococcal ACWY, with certain exemptions allowed. We recommend that documentation of immunity should be submitted no later than the first day of the quarter. Incomplete records may cause delays in your future quarter registration process.. UW Tacoma Online Criminal Justice students are not exempt from this requirement.
