WHO QUALIFIES

Households that make less than $70,000 can access free tax help and tax preparation for tax years 2023-2024. Some limitations may apply – tax returns that involve business taxes, rental income, or sale of property or stocks, are NOT eligible for this free service.

Get help with the Washington State Working Families Tax Credit.

UWT VITA will be open January 31, 2025 through April 15, 2025, Fridays & Saturdays from 12:30-4:30pm. The site will also be open Tuesday, April 15th from 12:30-4:30pm. (Closed February 21st, 2025)

Photo ID REQUIRED

All tax statements (W-2 form, 1099 form, SSA-1099 form, etc.) REQUIRED

Health insurance forms 1095-A REQUIRED

Bank account number and routing number (recommended)

A copy of last year’s tax return (recommended)

If you are filing with your spouse, you both must be present to e-file.
