I work at the Center for Equity and Inclusion because it brings me closer to my community and allows me to support the value of diversity in the classroom and on campus. I am in the Master's of Social Work program where I have learned to build networks, create student-centered programs, and seek resources that benefit all students. One fun fact about me is that I also work as a barista and my favorite drink is anything caffeinated.

Hello! My name is Isaiah! I am currently a marketing major at UWT. I’m a passionate marketer, leader, and creator who thrives on challenges and new experiences. I work in the CEI at the University of Washington as a marketing specialist, promoting school events and cool activities! Beyond academics, I run a coffee blog, love discovering music, and enjoy playing tennis and playing piano! Whether it's through marketing, content creation, or business ventures, I’m always looking for ways to connect, inspire, and make an impact.

I strive to advocate for underrepresented communities and I believe that diversity, equity and inclusion are essential for the growth of our society. As someone who is pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, the Center for Equity and Inclusion (CEI) allows me to expand my knowledge about ethical leadership and helps me address systemic inequalities. Also in my current position I enjoy creating student-centered events that support the CEI's mission.I love going to concerts and collecting Pokemon cards!

Event Specialist

I am the Event Specialist for the Center of Equity and Inclusion and I assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of events and programs. My role in the CEI has allowed me to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all students and faculty and I aim to facilitate joy for all community members. Some events that I have assisted with are the Student Support Resource Fair and the 2025 Lunar New Year Celebration. I am currently a junior majoring in Accounting in the Milgard Business School and aim to obtain my CPA someday. I like to bake in my free time! From Hokkaido milk bread to chiffon cakes, I like to try different recipes going through trial and error!
