Student Retention and Community Development Specialist
Salam Alikum! Ahmed Wafai serves as the Student Retention and Community Development Specialist at Equity & Inclusion. In this role, he focuses on promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion on campus. Ahmed currently manages the RISE Scholars program, supporting first-year college students from underrepresented communities. He is deeply committed to helping students, ensuring everyone has equal opportunities. Having graduated from UWT in 2023 with a degree in Business Administration, Ahmed is dedicated to professional growth and making a positive impact at UWT. He continues to be passionate about supporting his Pakistani community and creating safe spaces for marginalized students. As a first-generation college student and the oldest sibling in his family, Ahmed remains actively engaged in these pursuits. During his free time, he enjoys spending time with loved ones, being active in his Pakistani community, and going on weekend adventures.
