Hourly Parking
UW Tacoma hourly parking lots are available to the public. Payment is processed with the PayByPhone application or website. Learn which parking lots allow hourly parking, when, and for how long.
Permit Parking for Students
Students can purchase quarterly parking permits for Court 17 parking garage and the Whitney lot (evening-only permits available in additional locations). Learn more about the different options, when they are available, and how to log in to our Online Parking Portal to purchase.
Visitor & Event Parking Passes for Departments
If your department or RSO is hosting visitors on campus and you would like to pre-pay for their parking, submit a request for visitor parking passes!
For larger events that may need more than 10 parking passes, or for Saturday events where you would like to pre-pay for one or more full parking lots, use our Special Event Parking Request form.
Disability Parking
All UW Tacoma lots with available hourly parking have parking for drivers with state-issued placards or license plates. Permit-only disabled spaces are also available in the Dougan and Cragle lots.
Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging
EV charging stations are currently available in the Court 17 parking garage (requires UW Husky ID for access) and the Tioga lot. Learn important information on how to use these chargers and how to report any issues!
Two new dual-port fast chargers will be installed in the Cragle lot in 2025!
Permit Parking for Employees
