Transportation Services is implementing a new all-digital system for requesting and issuing single-day visitor parking passes.
With the new system, all requests for Visitor Parking Passes will be submitted in the Parking Portal. Once your request is approved, you will receive a confirmation email containing a link to send to your guest(s). Guests will use the link to "purchase" a digital parking pass with their vehicle information & license plate number - no more printing and displaying a physical pass!
To request digital Visitor Parking Passes, you will need to set up a Privileged Permit Access account for the person in your department or team who is in charge of requesting Visitor Parking Passes. While you may create an account to share, one person will be the primary account holder, and their name will be used for billing purposes.
Step 1: Create a Guest Account in the UW Tacoma Parking Portal
- Email address: This will essentially just be used as your Username when logging in to the Portal. You cannot use your UW email address, as it is already associated with your personal Parking Portal account. Instead, use either a shared UW Net ID or an alternative email address.
- Name: This is the person who is approving all requests made with this account, and they will be listed as the requestor on the Internal Service Deliveries (ISD)
- Password: Must include upper & lower case letters, at least 1 number and at least 1 special character
Step 2: Fill out and submit the webform below
Once we finish setting up your account, we will follow up with instructions on how to use the new system.
