Temporarily Link Rental Car to Permit

If you have a UW Tacoma Parking Permit and you need to use a loaner or rental vehicle, please use this form to temporarily add the vehicle to your parking permit. (If you are just borrowing a car from a friend or family member, add the vehicle to your permit in the Parking Portal.)

When temporarily driving a rental or loaner car (owned by a business, may have a large volume of different users), we recommend that you do not add the vehicle to your permit yourself in the Parking Portal. When you add a vehicle to your account, you mark yourself as the responsible party. If someone else on campus happens to rent the same vehicle and gets a citation, you would then show up as the person responsible for the citation. 

We can manually link the rental car to your permit so that it is not associated with you personally, and is instead specially marked as a rental car.  

Please submit this form as soon as you know you will be driving a rental car! If you are issued a citation after submitting this form, please let us know so that we can address it.
